This is a gorgeous spot in Prince William Forest Park – sun streaming through the trees, a beautiful creek, rocks, moss, and sooo many ferns. In just a couple of months there will be brilliant fall colors here but for now I’m soaking up as much summer as I can and taking advantage of the deep forest greens. We have had so many torrential downpours this month, the creek was much higher than usual and we couldn’t cross over to the big flat rocks on the other side, but we discovered some new spots, textures and light that I hadn’t
I was so excited to meet Maria and her family in person – before our session we had one Zoom meeting and had been following each other’s work on Instagram. She is also a photographer and we had a similar vision for the styling, location and overall feel of the session. They were so easy to work with, even with the 90+ degree heat that day, and an unexpected large number of people at the location!
