I LOVE April and May because of the longer and warmer days, the spring greens and flowers popping out everywhere, and all of the SENIOR photo shoots!! Working with high school, college, and graduate students to commemorate their incredible achievements and hard work makes me so happy and every year I can’t wait for spring to start these sessions.
This year is extra special because we get to celebrate a milestone of our own… Allen is graduating from JMU with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. Graduations are a big spotlight on how time flies, and as I was taking photos yesterday on the JMU campus I couldn’t help but to think back about how I felt watching Allen turn the key to his freshman dorm room 4 years ago. I’m so proud of him, excited for graduation next month, and can’t wait to visit him next year at the University of Edinburgh.
We chose a handful of spots to commemorate some of the places where he spent the most time on campus. Miller Hall, Carrier Library, the Quad – and college grad photos wouldn’t be complete without a champagne toast at the fountain! CONGRATS to all of the class of 2022 Dukes!!!
