The first few days when we finally transition from summer to fall are so beautiful. The weather is finally cool and the leaves have just started to change! I met the Peeler family at sunset on a gorgeous sunny afternoon for their family photos and also tried out a new lens that I rented, the 35 1.4, which I now am in love with and have a feeling it will be added to my other favorite (my 50 1.2) before long! Right at dusk 2 deer came out to graze and they watched us for a while before disappearing in the tall grass. I had such a wonderful time with this whole family, I didn’t think an hour was long enough!
You will see in all of my family galleries that I like details. When little kids are holding hands with their parents, holding flowers or rocks… those are moments and memories I want to capture. I like to think that all of the images I take in a session will be put in an album to keep as a time capsule. I love to design albums for my families, and I know that they really are an investment! Even if you don’t get one from me, I hope you will put one together yourself and will be happy to give you ideas on sites to use!
